Rev. Larry Rowe and his wife Mary Anne (Sebes) are both natives of Johnstown. They have been married for 45 years, are parents of 3 daughters, and grandparents of 5. While working full time at Bethlehem Steel Co., Larry attended UPJ graduating with a degree in Economics. He worked 14 years at Johnstown Bank and Trust Co. prior to answering an earlier call to ministry. Garfield St. United Methodist Church has nurtured his faith from childhood to entrance into the ordained ministry. He is a 1989 graduate of Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. He has served on the Conference Board of Ordained Ministry, the Indiana District Vital Congregations/Faithful Disciples Committee as chairman. the Johnstown District Committee on Ordained Ministry and the Board of Johnstown Human Services. Larry enjoys traveling related to history and Biblical education journeys. He has been to Israel 3 times; Greece and Turkey on the journeys of Paul and 4 short term mission trips.
