We recently embarked on an exciting new phase in the life of First United Methodist Church by entering into a Shared Ministry with Franklin Street UMC. In July, we welcomed Rev. Larry Rowe and Rev. David Vaughn to our congregation.
Larry Rowe, a native of Johnstown, retired from the ministry in 2008, but was called to serve in this joint ministry. He comes to us from Mt. Hope UMC, and Blacklick Community UMC. David Vaughn, who grew up in Aliquippa, most recently served at Faith UMC in Fox Chapel.
We welcome you to join us for worship every Sunday at 9:45am, and encourage you to stay for Sunday School at 11am., and our Wednesday Evening Bible Study, at 7pm, is sure to enrich your spiritual life.
